Volunteers

We have a huge range of volunteering opportunites, including helping with:

• our vegetable gardens
• garden design and development
• veg box delivery
• office/admin tasks
• catering events
• supporting trainees and volunteers
• helping on stalls
• maintaining community garden
• Ecoworks Management Committee
• or any other task at Ecoworks

Producing a range of fruit and vegetables using organic methods takes many hands, so involving volunteers helps us to keep our prices as low as possible and reach people most in need.

We’re going to trial a weekly volunteers session on the gardens on Monday afternoons from 1-3. We hope that this will give volunteers the best chance to meet eachother and learn from our gardeners in a group environment. Contact Chris at our offices (01159622200) if you’d like to come down and try your hand at some gardening!

Volunteers are offered ongoing support and training and are invited to get involved in decision making at monthly volunteer meetings and elect a volunteer representative to join Ecoworks Management Committee.
